What’s Good for BUSINESS – Can you keep a SECRET?

Private BusinessKEY BUSINESS and SO SECRET, two unrelated stallions, one with $11million worth of winners and the other with his oldest just turned yearlings– so what could they have in common? Well both are owned and standing at Rangeview Stud, but yesterday at Belmont, they were both represented by the same horse – 3 yr old gelding Private Business.
Private Business who after Wednesday has now won two races from four starts, is in fact a half brother to Group 3 winner SO SECRET being out of Most Secret and, he was sired by –you guessed it- KEY BUSINESS. A gutsy win having to do plenty of work being trapped wide for much of the 1400m after jumping from barrier 13, Private Business along with Barakey and Shock Value will give plenty of profile over the next few months to proven stakes winning sire Key Business.
Private Business also has something in common with For Your Eyes Only and Key Hedge another recent Belmont winner, and that is they are all by KEY BUSINESS out of Bletchley Park mares. Add to that Spitfire Ace who is by Bletchley Park out of a Key Business mare and we have quite a tangled web. One that we are really excited about, as SO SECRET over Key Business mares will give the Bletchley Park/ Key Business nick. So whichever way you view it, these two stallions look like complimenting each other for many years to come, and you may be wise in your stallion selection choice to just take a look at the nicks mentioned here.
