Three from Three for BARAKEY
The time of 57.80 for the 1000m at Belmont today turns out to be the slowest yet for Key Business son BARAKEY. But what more can you ask of this three year old when he wins in a canter? It was his third start and the first for him at a Saturday meeting. He didn’t have it all his own way to get to the front but lead he did. In the end he rarely sights another horse in his races, and he and Jason Brown just have to concentrate to get to the post in an easy fashion. His three wins have been the same -out in front doing it on his own and doing it so so easy. No doubt he will be challenged in the future and we will perhaps see a different side to this most exciting young horse. In the meantime he will have a short break and head to his next target, the Festival of Perth Racing Sprints. BARAKEY will add another dimension to our racing scene in the future and we all really look forward to it. Well done Jim, Jason, Aristos and all connected with the horse.
