MISS IVY LEAGUE – the name sounds impressive?

Well she now is impressive, at only her third start, 2 yr old MISS IVY LEAGUE headed off to Saturday Ascot and we held our breath at the end of the race for that head bobbing photo — and YES we got it.

Such a strong run from this filly by GALAH out of HOLD THE MONEY by Key Business.

She jumped really well and the whole race was in effect a two horse war between MISS IVY LEAGUE and Powerful.

It takes great courage and determination for two horses to fight a race the whole way like these two did, and we couldn’t be more proud of our filly trained by Michael Lane. She was ridden by Kyra Yuill who is having massive success at the moment riding triples just everywhere.

While there was a lot of interest at the Magic Millions Sale for her, we were surprised that we had to pass her in. We had no hesitation in keeping her and sending her off to the breakers and then to Michael Lane in Bunbury.

Michael is having quite some success with the progeny of GALAH so we thank him and Kyra for their good work.
